Today in class we did the second part of 8-2 and had time to ask questions over the first part and also section 8-1. The homework today was 8-2B p.421 #22-32, 34.

Today we took a look at the first part of section 8-2. The homework tonight is 8-2A p.421 #14-21, 54, 56, 59.

Today we finished section 8-1. The homework assignment for tonight is in the book in section 8-1 (I think p. 413) #22-38 evens.

Today we started Chapter 8. The grade reports were handed out and may be signed for extra credit. The homework tonight is the 8-1A worksheet.

Today we finished our testing cycle. The enrichment assignment and retake tests are completed. I will be sending home a grade report on Monday to get signed for extra credit. Monday we start Chapter 8.

Peer tutoring is what we did in class today to get extra practice for tomorrow's retake test. All students who scored below 75% must retake tomorrow. The retake test score counts whether it is higher or lower than the original, so study hard and try your best. The test is NOT multiple choice.

Today was the Ch. 7 Form A test. The grades will be posted soon if your class' grades aren't posted yet. Tomorrow will be peer teaching and the retake test (not multiple choice) will be on Friday.

Today we finished Chapter 7. We will review tomorrow in class and then take our test on Wednesday. The homework is the 7-5 Worksheet #1-9 (skip 6 and 8) and 11.

Today we wrapped up section 7-4. We also had an optional retake quiz over 7-1 to 7-3 for students that were not happy about their original quiz score. This will be the only time I offer a retake on a quiz. The homework tonight is 7-4B p.391 #19-21, 27-29, 39

The first test of the semester, over chapter 7, will be on Wednesday.

I handed back the quizzes from yesterday and went over those with the kids. We also covered 7-4A today in class. The homework is 7-4A p.391 #13-18.

Today we covered section 7-3. The homework is 7-3 p.385 #12-24(evens), 30, 35. There is a quiz tomorrow over 7-1 to 7-3 and you need your books tomorrow.

Today in class we reviewed solving by substitution, which was covered before all of our snow days we just had. Today we did the second part of the substitution lesson. The homework is 7-2B p.379 #17, 18, 28, 30, 32

Our first quiz will be Wednesday and it will cover 7-1 to 7-3

Today we went over the syllabus and some expectations in class and then covered section 7-1. The homework was a 7-1 worksheet #1-13 odds.

Today we took the retake test for Chapter 6 and worked on the exam review. Keep picking away at the exam review packet so you can earn some extra credit.

1st and 2nd hour exams are Tuesday
3rd and 5th hour exams are Wednesday
4th and 6th hour exams are Thursday

Thursday is a half day and there is no school on Friday.

Yesterday we took the Ch. 6 Test. Today we did correctives and peer teaching in class in preparation for the retake test tomorrow. If retaking, you need to complete the correctives tonight and everyone should be working on their review packet.

Second hour today reviewed and got some extra practice for tomorrow's test over Chapter 6. The other hours did that Thursday, so their homework is what is posted on here under 1-14-11. Today after school the the study session for the test.
